What an awesome story about taking your issue to Congressmen/Government officials! That is very commendable. You sound very self-confident and you are a wonderful self-advocate!
I attended a brain injury conference all day today in Los Angeles. It was so cool to be around so many people who feel the same passion about brain injury as we (you & me) do!
Anyway, I like to believe that brain injury suvivors are alive for a reason. Maybe the reason for us is to educate the 'powers that be' so that the upcoming brain injury survivors, recover more easily and more successfully.
