Quick Update

WOW was life ever easier when I all I had to was run and talk. Now I have to work!! I like my job. It's something that comes easy to me, I am outdoors, I get to deal with people and there is just enough excitement in it to make interesting without to demanding. My co workers are good and the location is good. The only issue is the pay is not great. 

I will keep my eyes open for something a little more financialy secure but for now I am not just trying to budget the new work…

Explaining Brain Injury to the Non-Brain Injured

I was brain injured in 1983. I don't even want to go into how hard it is to explain to people what a brain injury is like. Trust me. It's nearly impossible.

And with some people, when I have tried to explain it, they start making assumptions and applying their own filters to what I am saying. And who I am. Which is very hurtful, because they don't really get it.

But today I finally, after 29 years of thinking about this, figured out a good analogy.

A little about me

Not sure what to do I am supporting 3 people with minimum wage job and I have a head injury and always lose each job ive had, I want so much for my family and give a good life to my son and my wife is unable to work because of cornary heart disease and ptsd.

I have never had treatment for tbi exept when i was 9 I had to relearn everything after being in a coma for 2 days cracked my skull on my left side.
