Caregiver

My caregiver is good with the cooking, laundry, physical care stuff, but NO emotional support. It's awful and makes my recovery so much moreifficult. Have googles this topic, but can find nothing about "bad" caregivers. Anyone have this problem? Don't know how to change it. Tried opwnly and nicely communicating about it, but he says nothing ir gets defensive, annoyed, and angry. Help.
