Merry Christmas and Have a prosperous year! Remember we have been given by God these assets; we are alive, we can read, we can write, we can speak, hear and listen but most important we can reason. This means we can create, make plans and experiment. Success does not equal satisfaction; success is never final!
Just checking on you, Terry! When my past haunts me (almost everyday I'm filled with memories of past abuse I participated in) , all I can do is pray. Prayer does not take away memories, but it does help you become new. Yes,
it's hard to get rid of the past! But focusing on it makes it even harder to forget
and forgive. I'm praying for you - Stephanie
Terry, you said in your reply it's hard when now haunts your past. Sweetie, the past is forever gone. I do understand what you're saying, been there also, but Terry - you get to make a decision everyday on your attitude for the day. Yesterday will haunt you as long as you hold on to it. But, yesterday will never be again, so why waste your energy? Let go, let God! Stephanie
