"There must be untold numbers who walk away from a head injury every day, saying 'I'm OK'.  And then they aren't, but no one knows why.  I walked away from a car accident at the end of 1976.   I could remember…"

Hopeworks Foundation - seeking stories

I founded this Foundation because I have a brain injury - and for the most part, I have been on this journey on my own. My Dad had MND/ALS and my Mum has four neurological conditions. All cases are different in what is wrong and how it is best dealt with. But i wonder if anyone has a thought on making themselves better internally. Is it possible after brain injury to evolve and just step back into life. Is it just mind over matter to accomplish such things. My case is bad in that i have no memory of recovery process or how i came to this stage but im here. Memory issues and social anxiety are the real issues. See More
