Hi everyone. What other great groups on TBISN would you recommend to a newbie such as myself? Thanks

It's been seven years since my injury, I feel that our brain continues to grow and adapt , just as a young child learns and grows. I urge every one to look upward and forward, with a positive approach.

hi, kerry

It's been awhile since I check-in here with my very first support group. I am also a tbi survivor. I can relate like everyone's here. I think is best to write how you feel and let your emotion out. It is very brave of you, Kerry. very brave. I think medication is not dependable. or if you do. make sure to exercise!!! I know it wouldn't be easy on the first day, forwards. give everything you have to get that spark and preserver through. each day will get better...

So tired of being sick and tired....severe TBI survivor from 1997.  Getting older and they are still trying to find out what's going on....gained 15lbs. out of the blue at 44yrs of age and my Dr. tells me that my hormones are very low, especially the ones produced by the frontal lobe....anyone heard of that?  My motivation is nil and all they want to do is give me anti depressants....I have already been down that road and although it works, none of the generics one work for me and I cannot afford the brand none of my clothes fit....TOTALLY FRUSTRATED AND SICK OF THIS LIFE!

I have been a TBI survivor for over 10 years now. I am so excited in the changes and new ideas coming up for TBI survivors. For me the "Bionic Brain is one of them.
