I'd like to get some advice from you guys! I am now turning to you, hoping I can get an answer or clarity. I've been going through some strange episodes and as a former professional boxer with "punch dunk syndrome" or "dementia pugilistica," sometimes as boxers with chronic boxer encephalopathy or traumatic boxers encephalopathy we are frequently misdiagnosed with different things and I know we all have different injuries for sure! For the past 3 years or so I have been going through vertigo, lightheadness." more so lightheadness spin" a sensation that will take me around for a minute, this includes headaches that will strike me like a sharp object and will let go of me in 15 or so seconds! Sometimes, I have to hold my head tight with my hands, so the pain will stop. I was told this is "Allergy" I was told this is "Sinus" I was told "Don't know"I have become so agitated, happy one day and withdraw from people the next day. My memory sucks now where doctors has put me on "aricept". My balance is way off, where I am walking like I'm intoxicated. "How funny!" Has anyone felt the way I feel now? Lightheaded everyday, all day, including sitting down doing nothing, the spin is there taking over. Have you ever had that? Can anyone give me a conclusion, please? Being true to the thought of the moment.

I am not sure if this would be of any help to you, but I recently attended a lecture about visual rehabilitation after a TBI. It is amazing how vision affects so many aspects of our lives, like balance, memory, headaches with visual tasks, attention and concentration difficulties, etc. Visual rehabilitation reportedly corrects these problems. I have heard that the results can be quite dramatic. If you are interested, here is a url with more information: www.4eyesight.com.
I haven't gone through the visual rehabilitation program, so I can't give any feedback, but it's there for you to decide if it's right for you. Whether this is of help or not, I hope you get more answers from other survivors, as well.
