Hello all,
I want to let everyone know I'm raising money to make a documentary film about artists in the Pacific Northwest with brain injuries. Some did more art before their injuries, and some do more art now, after the injury. As a matter of fact, I used to act and dance, but I never made a film before my TBI in 2010! And now I'm a film maker!
I have two short comedy films about brain injury. And I need the community's help to raise the funds to make my hour-long documentary. If you want to donate (tax-deductible) or share this with anyone else you know, please visit http://bit.ly/O3NrOp . I have until September 20, 2012 to raise the money. So if you know someone who would like to donate to an arts project, send the link far and wide!!
You don't have to donate. You can go to the page and watch my 2 minute movie on that page where I talk about how important it is for people with brain injuries to tell their own story in their own words!
Thanks everyone for any help you can offer to help me get more people's stories and art out to the public.
