Do you suffer too?

I was reading at the Brain Injury assoc. of America an article stating that most people who suffer from a tbi die from a digestive disorder. Please keep in mind that this is not exactly what it said but it is paraphrased. I was wondering how many people out here suffer a digestive disorder. What you are doing to treat it? Have any of you found a permanent relief, or just temporary relief? How did you get your doctor to listen to you? My doctor will not help me.

I do suffer i am always in knotts, i think its the stress that causes the diestive disorder or something

Hi Beth,

I am a nurse and a carer.  I have read a lot about brain injury as well as observed and nursed a lot and I can truthfully say that I have never read or noticed such a thing.  I think you must have misunderstood what you read.  At any rate, why not ask the people at the Brain Injury association to explain the claim in the article. It sounds as if you have a digestive problem that is really  bothering you.  I hope that you can find someone knowledgeable to discuss this with, preferably your doctor.
